Quick Facts About Me
I co-owned a clothing company called Fully Loaded Barbell in University. We made heavy duty gym wear. Athough we only did one drop, you'll still see me wearing the shirts regularly in my Instagram and YouTube videos.
I studied nutrition for 5 years and passed the Canadian Registered Dietitian Exam in November 2024.
I started my coaching business in University working with powerlifters to get unreasonably strong and learn how to do weight cuts safely without sacrificing their mental health.
I worked in a complex diabetes management program for just over a year, helping people manage chronic disease with nutrition.
I was previously overweight and lost 55lbs while running my business so I could live a higher quality life. So my coaching isn't just talk, it's from years of education, research, and lived experience.
The reason I started making content and started my business is becasue I despise the lack of preventive healthcare in Canada. Most people can't get access to the coaching or information they need until they are already unwell. I want to be a resource to prevent it from getting that far.
My Journey
2000-2007
I was born in North Carolina, USA in 2000. My parents are both Canadian but moved south for work and had me (essentially the birth of Christ himself) as well as 2/3 of my siblings.
I started school in the States but we moved back to Canada early in my childhood so we could be closer to family. Many Canadians ask me what it was like to live in the States, but truth be told, I really don't remember it.
2008-2019
I grew up in Kingston, Ontario, living a very uneventful life. I played football for most of it and had the dream of playing semi-pro. But my Dad got me into weight training when I was in my early teens, and by the time I finished high school, I just wanted to powerlift and did that.
2020-2023
I went to the University of Guelph for Applied Human Nutrition with a specialization in Dietetics.

University was a struggle for me mentally. I often isolated myself. Despite having a great social circle built in the gym I felt lonely and inadequate in many ways.

I got big into powerlifting, started a clothing business, and a coaching business. Through being in the powerlifting scene, I adopted poor dietary practices and became significantly overweight, reaching 255lbs.
2024-Now
I was never an amazing student and never enjoyed academics very much. But I had built an impressive resume for a 23-year-old and got accepted to the Northern School of Medicine University for a Dietitian Internship Program.

I passed, wrote my dietitian exam, and passed that on the first attempt too.

Starting my career I had some time to look at my health and wasn't super impressed with myself. So I got myself together, lost 55lbs and brought my blood pressure into the normal range.

With this, I changed my business model to offer insurance billable dietitian services to help other career-driven people and athletes who struggle with their health find the systems that work for them to live healthy lives forever.
